Even when we are trying our best, when we're certain that we put in our all gladly and cheerfully, sometimes - still - it may not be enough for some individuals. We need to get that there is just no pleasing some people. This is when we need to learn that the work we do - whether professional or personal - and the effort you put into something should be done for the right reasons, out of Love, from a source of joy and for your own pleasure. You are a Star and you Shine!
Be who You are because You are a Star, just the way you are. Continue to believe in yourself, especially when faced with moments such as these because your genuine self always reveals itself. Don't be too worried about the perceptions and opinions of others, if we listen closely we find the answers within the Self and realise the the race is only with the self. No one else deserves more attention and Love than You.
