A glimpse of myself..

I caught a glimpse of myself in the mirror the other day and had to do a double take. I almost didn't recognize the women in front of me and was profoundly awakened to the metamorphosis occurring slowly unfolding.

The term women itself takes its time becoming a part of your vocabulary because the nature of youth means that age - the actual digits that define your label (youth) in society - are the only indicator that serve to remind you of your transition into "grown-dom" (if you'll allow me). Well that and the morphing face that quietly visits you one day. So... As I steal a look at the strangers face I've just seen, I realize in front of me stands a beautiful woman wearing a generous amount of youth around the edges of her face, lightly revealing cracks that bear vast experience glazed over bittersweet pain. Where once plump youthfulness rose inexperienced atop the cheeks of a knowing face now stands the eagerness of purpose and assurance of better days. The sexy scents of feminine allure grow more confident glowing beyond the veils of her eyes and the touch of futures promise renders a zestfulness in the nether most regions of the hips.

Let the inwardness that each year brings encourage a knowing that only blooms to unfurl a better part of you, that incites a better sense of who you are and encamping the best parts of your being to imbue a robust experience of your best life. Like fine wine... So to do I get better with time.

Becoming... Woman.

 Then...

Now...

As you were...
Aim high, Roam free...
